Whole House Audio Systems
Home theater options have grown quite sophisticated since the days of 20-inch televisions and Betamax machines. Audiophiles have always craved ways to maximize the listening experience in their homes, and cinephiles--thanks primarily to DVD--are now catching up. Music and movies have each been huge parts of popular culture for the past century, and they grew to even greater prominence starting with the Baby Boom generation. Multi-room audio systems, also known as distributed audio or whole house audio systems, allow you to listen to different musical selections in different rooms of the house--all from the same central location. In-wall or in-ceiling speakers can be added to your rooms, making your audio system nearly invisible.
