StereoStone Inc. has been manufacturing architectural outdoor weatherproof speakers for more than 14 years. Beginning in 1988 with 3 models of rock speakers; (Classic Stone, Omni Stone and Stereo Stone), the StereoStone model line now boasts more than 100 different models available in six basic colors.StereoStone Inc. is a family owned and operated manufacturing and distribution center started by brothers Ken and Gary Rottner. Ken Rottner came from a long background in the consumer electronics industry with an education in electronics. Gary Rottner has a degree in business and had owned/operated a manufacturing plant in the San Fernando valley for more than 30 years. The brothers now share the operation of the business with their sons Kevin ( more than 12 years with StereoStone coming from a background in distribution) and Alan ( 7 years in the family business after a career in multi-unit mgmt. in the restaurant industry). StereoStone has revolutionized the manufacturing of rock speakers and their methods are now well-copied by domestic as well as international manufacturers. Rather than using "cement (too heavy) or "fiberglass (insufficient density), StereoStone uses several different forms of resin to form the rocks and planters out of molds designed and built at the StereoStone facility. Additionally, StereoStone originated the flush "soundstealth screen replacing the molded open hole/slotted facia previously found in rock speakers. With a lifetime warranty introduced at the beginning of 1999, StereoStone stands behind its products. Consistently reviewed as having the premier sound quality, fit and finish in the industry, StereoStone products can be found in amusement parks throughout the world as well as hotels, restaurants and backyards.

Loudspeaker Reliability Our exclusive loudspeaker design uses dual spider woofers found only in the most expensive professional loudspeakers. Along with ferrifluid cooling technology, we use santoprene weather resistant surround suspension and the latest poly mica cone materials. This permits greater power handling with lower distortion. We also include auto reset overpower protection.
Professional Applications
STEREOSTONE loudspeakers are available for commercial applications. They are rated at 250 watts power handling, plus higher sensitivity, typically 2 dB better than the standard model. They provide maximum performanceand reliability. (Commercial 25, 70 and 100 volt line transformers may be installed in the rock enclosure and are available as an option).
Outdoor Weather Protection
STEREOSTONE products are triple protected from outdoor elements...bugs, rain, snow and ice, and also from the sun's ultra violet rays.
StereoStone warrants to the original purchaser only, the loudspeaker rock enclosure and all component loudspeaker parts to be free of any manufacturing defects for the life of the product. Any defective products must be shipped prepaid to StereoStone Inc. Any defective parts in the products returned under warranty will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts, provided that in the opinion of StereoStone, the product has not been abused or misused, and original proof of purchase is included.
The Sunfire MKII has a factory 2 year warranty on the True Sub Woofer. StereoStone includes a ``Lifetime Warranty" on the rock enclosure and all component loudspeaker parts to be free of manufacturing defects for the life of the product.
The Hanging Planter and the Omni planter carry a 2 year warranty.
NOTE: Please contact the dealer you purchased the Rocks from before returning any defective merchandise to us. You will be charged for any warranty repairs unless the return is accompanied by proof of purchase.
